Boobquake featured on the Colbert Report!
Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 10:24AM
Wow... Jen McCreight Can really say she hit the big time now, not only was her "call-to-boobs" featured in the New York Post, but now she's also been featured on the Colbert Report!
Not only is this good for Jen, and certainly for her blog, but I believe it is an important step in the right direction for all of us. The fact is, when crazy extremist religious leaders make ridiculous claims, they should be called out on it. Why is it that for 6000 years religion has remained exempt from the burden of proof? If we are truly to enter an age of enlightenment, we need to begin to seriously make a close examination of our values, our ethics and our beliefs and their source. Why is it that the majority of people maintain the same religion as their parents? Why do so many religious people believe that in the absence of god we'd all be murderers and rapists? And if it is true that in the absence of gods, the religious would be criminals, then does it not stand to reason that Atheists have demonstrated the superior morality?
I say bravo Jen McCreight!
