Bored to Death? Possibly...

Boredom is like an emotional and mental oxymoron. Your mind desperately seeks something to do, but your body does not respond. This universal human experience ranks very near the bottom of our list of desirable emotions, and while boredom may spring from various sources, people report almost uniform sensations of lazy restlessness.

Eye-rolling, gum-chewing teens think boredom could just about kill them. And guess what: They're half right. While boredom itself might not kill you, what about its cures?
