Life is a Journey, Why Not Share it?

Here is the question of the day… When typing, do you prefer a double or single space after a period? I personally prefer a single space. I see no reason for a double space, and neither APA nor MLA formats call for it. I think it is merely an extr keystroke, and wasted space. What do you think?
